Terms of Service

By using Chamaaki, you agree to these terms. Read carefully — they define what Chamaaki is (and isn't), and the rules for using the platform.
1. What Chamaaki is
Chamaaki is a marketplace connecting end users to local service businesses (barbershops, salons, clinics, etc.). We facilitate discovery and booking — we are not party to the service the business provides, and don't guarantee its quality, availability, or price.
2. Account
You need an account (via NC SSO) to book, review, or favorite. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
3. Usage rules
Not allowed: registering a fake business or misleading information, posting fraudulent or offensive reviews, using the platform for illegal purposes, or attempting to bypass the site's security measures.
4. Bookings
A booking is an agreement between you and the business. Chamaaki does not process or guarantee payment for the service itself (only the business's platform subscription) and is not responsible for cancellation, delay, or quality of service provided by the business.
5. Reviews
Reviews must reflect a real booking experience. Chamaaki moderates flagged reviews and may remove content that violates these terms, without prior notice in clear abuse cases.
6. Business subscription
Businesses subscribe to a paid plan to appear in search (after the free trial). Billing, renewal, and cancellation follow the chosen plan's terms, shown before confirmation.
7. Intellectual property
Chamaaki's brand, logo, and software belong to [Legal entity name]. Content you publish (photos, descriptions, reviews) remains yours, but you grant Chamaaki a license to display it on the platform.
8. Limitation of liability
Chamaaki is provided "as is". We are not liable for damages arising from a third-party business's service, nor for temporary platform unavailability.
9. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when possible.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Brazilian law, with disputes resolved in the courts of [city/jurisdiction].
11. Changes to these terms
Material changes are announced at least 15 days in advance. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
